Coding is Logical Thinking
Coding isn't just about technology — it's a workout for critical and logical thinking. It's uniquely built around solving problem after problem to achieve a goal. This means students build skills that pay off in school, careers, and everyday life — especially in the age of AI.
The fall season at The Hill School includes coding instruction in a low-ratio Code Class (6:1). Weekly sessions are held on Thursdays from 3-4pm for 1st/2nd grade and 4-5pm for 3rd-5th grade. Code Classes run from September through December (Sept 24, Oct 1, 8, 22, 29, Nov 5, 12, 19, Dec 3, 10) for a total of 10 sessions.
Math & Code provides students with 2 hours per week of instruction in math and coding in a low ratio (3:1) setting. Students will have one hour of math tutoring and one hour of code coaching for an affordable monthly fee. Contact us at ashburn@thecoderschool.com for more information.
