Our camps generally have a low-ratio of students per coach. Ask your location for specifics as it can vary. Camp instructors are Code Coaches® who have successfully gone through our onboarding process and are coders that know how to teach coding skills to kids. Each camp has recommendations around age and skill level, but all are open to discussion based on your child’s experience with coding.

Scratch Camp kids Start with a hand-drawn sketch of their favorite movie or TV hero, campers will use cutting-edge artificial intelligence to refine their artwork. Next, they'll bring their characters to life in a coding project as interactive sprites. Also during this camp, the kids will get a chance to use our Oculus headset to create their own sculptures and artwork in virtual reality that they can then export and print on our 3D printer! If you’ve never heard of MrBeast, just ask your kids who he is! In our MrBeast Camp we’ll be teaching the kids how to brainstorm ideas, plan, shoot and edit their own MrBeast-style video ready to publish on YouTube. The campers will work in small teams to cooperate on their videos together and they’ll edit them as a team. Campers will learn deeper robotics concepts, hands-on assembly skills, and more complex programming to bring their SpiderBot to life with real movement and control. Python is extremely powerful yet easy to read compared to other programming languages, so it’s perfect for kids who are ready for a typed programming language. We know the kids love Minecraft so what better way to teach them to code than doing so on the platform they already know and play!During breaks we’ll let the kids play our Nintendo Switch to compete in Super Smash Bros. tournaments. Using a Scratch-like block language and Python, campers will get hands-on with drone programming right from their laptops, all set up on-site with our own hotspot. This unique outdoor camp combines fresh air and tech in a way kids won’t find anywhere else—perfect for aspiring coders and drone enthusiasts! Check out the Drone we’ll be using for this camp. In our Dream House Designers camp, kids explore architecture, engineering, and coding while designing mini dream homes, both digitally and hands-on! They’ll use Tinkercad to create digital blueprints, then build real mini houses and furniture with DIY materials. Using Scratch coding, they’ll also design interactive home features, just like real architects and engineers. | 7/20-7/24 | In-Person | LEGO Masters In our LEGO Masters Camp we use popular LEGO coding kits such as the Mindstorms and Spike Essentials to teach kids to build some awesome creations and to program them with Scratch to perform cool tricks and even some Artificial Intelligence or A.I.! LEGOs are a great way to teach kids logic and the fundamentals of mechanical engineering in addition to coding, and they’re also GREAT for kids who love to express themselves creatively. | 7/27-7/31 | In-Person | The MrBeast - YouTube Studio Camp MrBeast (yes it’s spelled that way!) is the most popular YouTuber in the world! Known for his creative video content, stunts and humor. If you’ve never heard of MrBeast, just ask your kids who he is! In our MrBeast Camp we’ll be teaching the kids how to brainstorm ideas, plan, shoot and edit their own MrBeast-style video ready to publish on YouTube. The campers will work in small teams to cooperate on their videos together and they’ll edit them as a team. Though not a prerequisite, if your child has been to our YouTube Studio Camp in the past, you can think of this camp as the sequel to that one! In this fun and beginner-friendly camp, students will use Scratch to design their very own turn-based Pokémon battles, complete with custom sprites, health bars, and evolving characters. Throughout the week, kids will bring their favorite Pokémon to life through drag-and-drop block coding. They'll animate movement, build attacks with sound and logic, and create pixel-style worlds where players explore, battle, and collect.
